Task of Committee:

  • Creating a General Manual paralleling the Pastor's General Manual containing information on categories of educators, compensation, training opportunities, guides for Installation Services and more.
     
  • Creating a Liaison Manual outlining the roll and responsibility of the Educator Liaison Committee.
     
  • Creating a manual for church educator nominating committees.
     
  • Providing continuing education, training opportunities and guidance for going through the educator certification process.
     
  • Providing newcomer information packet and colleague/mentoring opportunities for educators new to Salem Presbytery.
