Statement of Purpose
To share Jesus’ love with the Hispanic/Latino community in the Old Town
area, so that together we may discover ways to build God’s Kingdom by
nurturing love, hope, consolation, justice, light, and courage in
individuals, families, and the community.
As we develop this partnership between the Winston-Salem PC(USA) congregations and the Hispanic/Latino community, we will exchange life experiences in light of the Gospel, and we will identify the needs and the strengths that we have together in order to develop our talents and gifts so that we can all live abundant lives.
Our vision is for this ministry to become an inspiration and source of ideas
for other faith communities, as well as a venue for cross-cultural dialogue
and bridge-building relationships.
