The Salem Presbytery website seeks to post information affecting its constituent churches; however, the posting of such events does not indicate that the Presbytery does or does not endorse the event.  We do not post editorial submissions from our churches though we do provide links to their websites and other appropriate websites when available.

 

Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church invites you to join them on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. as they honor Rev. Dr. Jeffrey A. Smith for his 5 years of ministry at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church (Cleveland, NC).  The celebration will begin in the sanctuary followed by a reception in the Fellowship Center.
 

Mt. Vernon Springs Presbyterian Church invites you to attend their Annual Homecoming on Sunday, June 1, 2008.  A covered dish lunch will follow the service.
 

First Presbyterian Church of Mount Airy is pleased to celebrate their 150th Anniversary in 2008!  The church was founded on June 6, 1858 and has served God at the corner of Main and Church streets ever since.  They have a number of events taking place throughout the year.  Two events of note are:  Founder's Sunday on June 8th and Homecoming on October 19th.  They are also inviting former ministers to return, creating a Historical Archive room, and making a concentrated effort to "go green" as a church.  For more information and a complete calendar of events, please visit www.fpcma.com and click on the "Celebrating 150 Years" link, or call the church at 336-786-2803.
